The latest version at http://partiwm.org/static/downloads/ is 0.0.6.
Is that Antoine's patched version, or...?

Thanks for the detailed instructions to reproduce. I just tried with
both the 0.0.6 and the current tip, and both of them seemed to work
perfectly -- so I'm not sure what's going on!

A useful place to start would be to run the client with '--debug
xpra.protocol' to get a trace of the client and server's
communication, that we can look at for any anomalies.
